Peter Kerz is a safety professional with twenty-two years of experience, including twelve years in the healthcare sector. He has a BSc in Kinesiology, a MSc in Human Factors, and has completed the Infection Control for Health Professionals course. He is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, key projects have included advising on mask and gown testing and inventory management, assessing and supporting worksites (long-term care homes), maintaining operational continuity, as well as extensive risk assessing and assessment tool building for staff.

Key assessment areas have included high-traffic break rooms and workspaces, visitor screening, patient flow management, and reliably transferring information about cases.
